4x4 Thru Canyonlands and Whitewater Rafting In Moab

In June we spent a memorable day with NAVTEC Expeditions exploring off-roading in a 4x4 thru Canyonlands National Park. Here are some highlights from our adventure. We saw far more with our guide than we could have ever seen on our own. To experience out-of-the-way spectacular views, a personal guide who knows how to drive in the terrain safely is the way to go.
After spending the morning 4x4ing thru Canyonlands National Park, we went to the Colorado River for lunch provided by Navtec, which included Chicken Ceaser Wraps, chips, snacks, and Gatorade. The staff was all friendly and well trained. We were each fitted with lifevests and briefed on how to safely float down the river. The trip was very calm and could only accurately be called a leisurely float. Our guide did all of the paddling and we had the option to float down the river next to the raft. The water was frigid so most opted to stay in the raft. There were only a couple of very small "rapids" (class 1 or 2 at most) and everyone wad safely in the raft for these. The trip was very family-friendly and a memorable way to experience the magnificent Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado River from different viewpoints.
